Lumiere Laser Academy strives to set the highest standard in laser tattoo removal, laser hair removal, and laser skin rejuvenation education. We offer comprehensive courses for physicians and their medical staff along with estheticians and tattoo artists to ensure advanced training necessary to enter the laser industry, or for any individual with a passion for lasers to use this as a stepping-stone for a new career in the laser industry. This program is available for any individual looking to advance their professional status. Upon completion of training, you will receive two certificates:
Laser Skin Rejuvenation Specialist (L.S.R.S.) & Laser Safety Officer (L.S.O)

In this course, you will learn:
Laser Physics
In this course, students will learn the principles of laser physics in relation to skin rejuvenation. They will explore how different wavelengths interact with skin tissues and analyze the effects on collagen production. By the end, students will be equipped to apply laser technologies effectively in cosmetic treatments.
Fitzpatrick Scale
Students will learn about the Fitzpatrick Scale by exploring skin types and their UV responses. They will discuss the six skin types their characteristics through interactive activities. This knowledge will them understand safe laser practices and skincare applications.
Proper Technique
Students will learn laser skin rejuvenation through theory and hands-on practice. The curriculum covers technology, anatomy, and safety, providing a solid foundation. Practical sessions allow skill application under expert guidance, ensuring confidence and competence by course completion.
Handpiece Selection
Students will learn to select the right laser handpiece for skin rejuvenation by considering skin type and treatment goals. Through hands-on training, they will gain practical experience in settings and techniques for optimal results, while prioritizing safety and patient care.
Pre-Care & Post-Care
Students will learn essential pre and post care for laser skin rejuvenation, ensuring optimal results. They will understand the importance of avoiding sun exposure and certain medications before treatment, and the need for proper cleansing, moisturizing, and sun protection afterward. This knowledge will empower them to guide clients effectively.
The Business of Laser Skin Rejuvenation
Students will learn the fundamentals of laser skin treatments, including technologies, techniques, and safety protocols. They will also develop essential business management skills, such as marketing and financial planning, to successfully run a laser business. By the program's end, students will be prepared to thrive in the industry.
