Laser Tattoo Removal Specialist (L.T.R.S.) & Laser Safety Officer (L.S.O)

In this program, you will learn:
Laser Physics
Learning the physics of tattoo removal lasers involves understanding how light interacts with ink. By using specific wavelengths, lasers break down ink while protecting surrounding tissue. This knowledge is crucial for safe and effective tattoo removal.
Fitzpatrick Scale
The Fitzpatrick Scale is a classification system based on the amount of melanin present in the skin, how the skin reacts to sun exposure, and the skin’s tendency to sunburn or tan.
Proper Technique
Students will learn proper laser technique through hands-on practice and expert instruction. They will focus on safety and precision, refining their skills with practical exercises and feedback, ultimately gaining confidence in effective and safe laser use.
Handpiece Selection
Students will learn about different laser tattoo removal handpieces through hands-on training and theory. They will understand the features of each handpiece and how to choose the right one for various skin types and ink colors.
Pre-Care and Post-Care
Students will learn essential pre-care and post-care for laser tattoo removal, including skin preparation and sun avoidance. Post-care emphasizes healing and proper treatment of the area. This knowledge is vital for effective client care.
The Business of Tattoo Removal
This course equips students with the essential skills required to establish and manage a successful laser tattoo removal business. Participants will receive hands-on training in laser technology and customer service, complemented by effective marketing strategies. Upon completion, students will be well-prepared to excel in the tattoo removal industry.
